I spent most of my awesome day working, teaching a group of college kids how to canoe. On my way home, I noticed a few apple trees on the campus. I decided to fill my back pack, and boy are they delicious! I kept picking til a security guard told me to stop. OOPS! But I am concerned about how many apples I see unpicked…… So go pick some apples! Cuz if not, only the squirrels and gulls will get em!
Born and raised in Montreal, as a teenager I was turned on to wilderness survival skills. Since then, I have attended the Tom Brown Jr. Tracker School, as well as the Wilderness Awareness School in Duvall, WA, where I Participated in their year long residential program, as well as their second year teaching apprenticeship, and tracking intensive. I have now returned home, eager to share my passions for wild foods and wild crafts in the city.
